Daemon is actually congenial but aggressive, in which he possess a bad habit of eliminating most of the their prospective love rivals

As oldest off Rhaenyra’s three sons, Jace holds an undue number of pressure – and since we know the guy along with his other brown-haired brothers had been born out-of wedlock, fathered of the Rhaenyra’s protect Harwin Good, he and holds new sting out of illegitimacy. Called the new Prince out-of Dragonstone, Jace flights the fresh dragon Vermax and you can runs his requirements given that Rhaenyra’s heir vigilantly and you can loyally. Nonetheless, the fresh expanding rivalry ranging from their family members and you can Erotic dating Alicent’s in the course of time takes him, along with most people doing him.

Lucerys Velaryon (Harvey Sadler /Elliot Grihault)

Middle child Luke is the reason for the ferocity and resolution exactly what the guy does not have into the ages. As rider from Arrax, the guy originally promised his mother he’d prevent attacking inside vicious civil battle. Alternatively, because the inadvertent lifelong competition out of Aegon II, the guy sooner becomes brand new poster kid on the competition anywhere between Alicent’s clan and you can Rhaenyra’s clan.

Joffrey Velaryon

To give you an idea of exactly how complicated the newest Velaryon members of the family securities are, Joffrey is largely titled once Laenor’s earliest like, Joffrey Lonmouth – a guy just who seems briefly for the HotD simply to satisfy a great awful end at the hands of Ser Criston Cole.

Joffrey’s complex family history, as well as his coming to ab muscles center of one’s state’s civil combat alongside their one or two older brothers, seemingly have pulled its toll. He develops irresponsible and you may determined to show himself worthy of the courage and courage, even with are far too more youthful for attacking. The guy trips the fresh dragon Tyraxes.

Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith)

Daemon Targaryen are attractive to anyone but individuals who will make him another queen. Queen Viserys’s correct-give man, Otto Hightower (played because of the Rhys Ifans), many times reduces Daemon of getting next heir immediately after which determines Rhaenyra over your because the replacement – at least, the guy do until his or her own child Alicent marries the new queen.

However for all their opponents think your off plotting for taking along the throne, Daemon, good.k.a. brand new “rogue prince,” have better activities to do, such as for instance seducing his brother’s child Rhaenyra and you may conquering his or her own empire. He drops having Rhaenys’s daughter Laena Velaryon – a handy matches with regards to maintaining his place on judge – but Laena’s currently interested. No problem; the guy eliminates their competition during the a good duel.

Later, rumor has they he murders his own sibling-in-legislation, Laenor Velaryon, after that hitched to Rhaenyra. He then maybe seals the offer by murdering Rhaenyra’s lover Harwin, and therefore successfully taking right out each of their rivals for Rhaenyra’s hands, and you may marrying her. Ultimately, this might have just started Daemon’s method of getting as near for the throne when he you will. Simply speaking, Daemon Targaryen isn’t a guy we would like to cross.

Laenor Velaryon

Laena and you will Laenor have limited possibilities within their jobs since heirs toward great Household Velaryon. They each find yourself marrying to the Targaryen dynasty – Laenor versions a married relationship out of benefits with Rhaenyra which allows him to live on easily as the a homosexual kid less than the girl cover when you find yourself she pursues the woman love affair that have Harwin Solid. Regardless of if he did not get married getting like, he helps make the better of they, and you will nobly says every one of their three certainly illegitimate students because the his personal.

Laena Velaryon

I first fulfill Laena from the decades twelve as she actually is being offered in-marriage by the the girl mothers so you can a mortified Queen Viserys. She the good news is fares ideal next and you may ends up distinguishing herself once the an effective dragonrider and you may noblewoman. She marries Daemon and real time along with her gladly while she raises their twin girl, Rhaena and you can Baela. Unfortunately, she does not have any the most basic destiny with regards to childbearing – but suffice it to express she does not decrease on the side.
